Declan Rice wasn’t part of the squad that traveled to Milan, but Martin Odegaard will be a great boost to Arsenal when he returns against Inter Milan.

On Tuesday morning, Odegaard went to train with his colleagues at Arsenal’s London Colney facility. He suffered an ankle injury in September and hasn’t played since.

Odegaard is also expected to travel to Milan prior to Wednesday’s Champions League match at San Siro. To be safe for Sunday’s crucial match against Chelsea in London, Rice hasn’t traveled to Italy yet.

The 25-year-old Odegaard is Arsenal’s captain. Due to an injury he sustained while playing for Norway, he has missed the last 12 games for his side.

Fortunately for Arsenal, who are now seven points behind Liverpool in the Premier League title battle, he will return soon. How many minutes he will play against the Italian champions is unknown, though.
