It was said this weekend that Barcelona, a big team in La Liga, would try to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Jonathan Tah in the winter.
Defensive player Tah’s name has been in the news a lot in Barcelona for a long time.
This comes after Barcelona’s late-season attempt to sign the German international was turned down by Bayer Leverkusen’s officials before the season.
The people in charge at Camp Nou are still very interested, though, because Tah’s contract at the BayArena ends in the summer of 2025.
According to Diario Sport, Deco and his team could still allow an attack in the middle of the season to sign the 28-year-old.
To get Tah before other teams do, Barcelona is thinking about making an offer in January to try to convince Leverkusen to sell rather than lose a key player for nothing in the summer.
It’s also been said that the starting price for winter talks would be around €20 million.
