On Friday, November 15, Portugal came back to defeat Poland 5-1 in the UEFA Nations League at the Estadio do Dragao. With 13 points from five games, they advanced to the next round, while the Poles are still in fourth place with four points from five games. They scored all five of their goals in the second half.
Bruno score one great goal. He and Dalot play di whole match
Dalot won two duels, making one clearance and one interception in a composed defensive performance. He also played one key pass and attempted two shots but failed to hit the target.
Bruno Fernandes looked slightly off-colour for a while before coming into his own in the second half. He had an eventful match as he scored an absolute screamer from outside the box and was also booked. He played three key passes and won three duels as well.
Meanwhile, Eriksen & Hojlund both played 79 minutes in 1-2 loss over Spain. They both were in starting XI:
They were on their way after goals from Ayoze Perez and captain Mikel Oyarzabal, but Gustav Isaksen pulled one back to set up a nerve-wracking last five minutes.
Once again, Christian Eriksen was exceptional, but he just did not receive the necessary assistance. Although he was generating opportunities, the forwards were hardly finding the correct spots.
Rasmus Højlund, anonymous in the game and never managed to get into the areas he was needed. Failed to get a single shot away and was isolated from his teammates.
