Havertz has a lot of respect for animals and nature. Some people might be shocked to learn that the famous German person has a donkey. He spends a lot of his free time cuddling his animals.
In his blog posts, Havertz mostly talks about his dog Baloo. The animal lover said that he got the dog as soon as he got to England. “When we got there, we decided that we needed a dog and a garden,” Havertz said on Extra Time on ChelseaTV. “I used to live in a German apartment that was too small for a dog and didn’t have a garden. It was very clear at the time.”
“After about two months, we began looking for the right person.” We went there a few times. People who only wanted to breed dogs to make money were not welcome in our group. We finally found the best option after a long search, and we’ve had him for six or seven months now. That’s his fake name, Baloo. We’re very pleased with him.

In comparison to his fancy social media followers, the 22-year-old German seems to live a simple life and appreciate simple things. Havertz has joined the effort to raise money for the people in his hometown of Aachen who were damaged by flooding.
It was in Havertz’s hometown that the recent big floods in parts of Belgium and Germany happened.
The amazing young man gave $200,000 to the Red Cross Germany in the form of custom-made boots, which shows how mature he is for his age. The money raised will be used to fix up the damage done to families and houses where he was born.
