A versatile player, Nikola Jokić of the Nuggets is excellent at guarding, shooting, passing, and other basketball talents.

Peyton Watson and Nikola Jokic both starred in advertisements.

NBA fans discovered Jokić’s acting prowess on Tuesday. Videos posted on social media put Jokić and colleague Peyton Watson at the forefront of a new advertising campaign for Hotels.com.

The funny ads were inspired by Jokić’s affection for horses and her friendship with Watson. As usual, however, the true treasure was concealed among the bloopers.

Both of these are outstanding, especially after Jokic tells Watson that the animal in the first image is actually a pony. The bench joke in the second commercial is also hilarious, especially because Watson is still earning his minutes.

An advertisement featuring a well-known athlete who may be the most realistic in history shows Jokic lounging in a cabana by the pool and using his hands to feed a pony in a hotel lobby. The ads feature both Watson’s and his dry humor, and fortunately, there’s also a blooper footage in which Jokic chastises himself for missing his lines, the pony tries to eat his fingers, and the pony pooped while holding to the leash.

Jokic is the world’s best basketball player and could likely play for as many national teams as he desires. He doesn’t care for the spotlight, though, and usually maintains a low profile.

We’ll have to wait and see where these ads air, but you can bet they’ll go viral if they air on a major ESPN or TNT broadcast.

Congratulations to Jokic for starring in the advertisements and receiving some of the several endorsement payments he is due.

Although the final ads demonstrated that Jokić could soon join many of his NBA peers as a top pitchman, the bloopers suggested that he would still benefit from some experience in front of the camera.

The humorous side Jokić was able to display throughout the campaign was adored by the public.
