On Tuesday night in South Philadelphia, the Denver Nuggets lost to the Sixers 126-121.
After the Nuggets’ defeat by the Sixers on Tuesday, Nikola Jokic was pictured with McGillin’s bar staff.
Nikola Jokic and the group were upbeat despite the loss and went to McGillin’s, Center City’s oldest continuously operating pub in Philadelphia, for some drinks after the game.
After midnight, guard Collin Gillespie, a former Villanova standout player, came into the restaurant and asked that a few tables be put together for the team, according to manager Rene Rodriguez. The Nuggets now have Gillespie.
Jokic and several more players and assistant coaches came in shortly after. Jokic and the Nuggets ordered fifty wings and a pair of Bud Lights because Tuesday is McGillin’s wing night.
