3x MVP Nikola Jokic is in the building for Nuggets Media Day with a brand new awesome beard πΈπ©π¦
The following are some main conclusions from Thursday’s Denver Nuggets media day: Jamal Murray wants to be an MMA fighter, Nikola Jokic can grow a great beard or goatee, and Aaron Gordon organized his closet and had a great yard sale this summer.
Oh, and nobody liked that they couldn’t protect their throne. They are ready to make a comeback to the NBA summit, but they will appear different. Both Reggie Jackson and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope left the team. Russell Westbrook and Dario Saric have been added.
Naturally, there are the more seasoned players: Murray, who recently signed a four-year, $208 million contract extension, and Jokic, a three-time NBA MVP. The Nuggets tied the team record with 57 wins at the end of the season, but Minnesota defeated them in the second round of the playoffs. In Game 7 at home, Denver surrendered a 20-point lead in the second half.
